Trigger alert for anti-ace slut-shaming (never thought I’d have to use those two terms in the same sentence, but alas…)
So apparently, I’m “creepy” and “obsessed with sex” (lol, they obviously have never met me) if I explain the specifics of my gray-A identity and—-god forbid—-am open about being kinky. But sexuals are just being normal/radical/awesome when they do the same thing (depending on the context).
If you think that I am being ridiculous or that nothing is wrong with this, seriously, just unfollow me or block me right now. I can’t afford to be triggered by assholes anymore. Don’t reblog this unless you are supportive and only have ace-friendly followers.
Man, just. I offer you a hug and support, because there is no such thing as a Good Ace to these people. We are all Bad Aces, nothing we do is ever going to be right for them, etc. etc. Did you ever see the posts where they were saying people on the ace spectrum can’t consent to sex? Yeah, that was a thing, and they actually believe it! It’s pretty fucking disgusting and emblematic of why their opinions are completely fucking irrelevant! :D
